Shobana Jeyasingh presented one of her works, Bruise Blood, to six academics chosen for their professional interest in the human body and asked them to comment on it from their specialist perspective. These personal, insightful and unusual writings became the scripts for six highly individual film portraits which reveal the academic, their work and dance in a new light.
