Max Escudero is a new addition to the group as of October 2012 and is reading for his Ph.D. under the supervision of Thrishantha Nanayakkara and Kaspar Althoefer.
His current research aims to fully understand the mechanical principals behind bipedal motion in order to develop a novel, low-cost lower limb prosthesis. He has special interest in compression and restitution, slip and how these affect variability in walking as well as leg length and other factors.
Max Escudero received his Master’s degree at King’s College London in mechanical engineering.
