Samuel is a PhD student in the Department of Informatics at King's College London, under the supervision of Dr. Matthew Howard. Samuel received a Bachelor degree in Mechanical engineering in 2013 and he currently has a Master degree in Mechatronic Systems for Rehabilitation from the University Pierre and Marie CURIE.
Research Project
Samuel Pitou is interested in low-cost smart textile solutions and rehabilitation robotics that would potentially increase healthcare accessibility in developing countries. He is currently working on the use of textile electrodes for myoelectric control of orthosis and prosthesis.
