Ali is conducting his PhD research on objective assessment of comfort and ergonomics through fusion of multi-sensory data. His work is focused on the creation of wearable sensors to measure muscle activity and joint angles in the upper body. His interests include medical robotics, sensor interfaces and analogue/digital circuit design.
