Dr Grazia Todeschini
Dr Todeschini joined King’s College London in August 2021 as Reader in Engineering with the aim to use her experience to solve the challenges related to the integration of power electronics devices in the transmission and distribution systems, focusin on power quality issues.
She is passionate about teaching and uses her professional experience to provide practical examples in her lectures.
Dr Todeschini is active in public engagement activities and aims at promoting STEM subjects within groups that are currently under-represented.
Dr Zhida Deng
Dr Zhida Deng received the B.Eng. degree in electrical and electronic engineering form University of Liverpool, UK, in 2013, the M.S.c degree in energy and power systems from University of Liverpool, UK, in 2014, and the Ph.D degree in electronics and electrical engineering from University of Southampton, UK, in 2020.
He is now a postdoctoral research assistant in the Swansea University. His research interests include renewable energy, power system planning, operation and optimization, and stability and power quality of power electronic based power systems.
Ioannis Mexis
Ioannis Mexis received his M.Eng. in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, Thessaloniki, Greece, in 2014 and his M.Sc. in Power Electronics and Drives from Aalborg University, Aalborg, Denmark, in 2018.
He is currently a Ph.D. student with the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Swansea University. His research interests include design of ancillary services for battery energy storage systems, control of power converters and their applications in power systems.
