Directions to the Strand Campus

The conference takes place in the King's Building, Strand Campus, Strand, London WC2R 2LS. The Strand Campus is within walking distance of most recommended hotels. If you wish to travel by public transport, the closest Tube stations are Temple, Covent Garden, Blackfriars and Waterloo. The closest train stations are Blackfriars, Embankment and Waterloo. You may wish to use your mobile phone's map application to navigate to the Strand Campus. If so, note that the postcode WC2R 2LS is specific to the Strand Campus and searching for that postcode will provide directions to the conference venue.

Strand Campus Main Entrance

The Strand Campus is a complex of interconnected buildings located on the Strand (i.e. the street, see map above). The main entrance from the Strand is the Strand Building, the somewhat unpleasant looking concrete building, sometimes referred to as "the winerack", shown below. The conference site will be signposted from the Strand Building main entrance.

Directions to the King's Building

Most conference and workshop related activities will take place in the King's Building. To get to the King's Building from the Strand Building, simply walk straight through the reception area of the Strand Building. The King's Building is indicated as A in the campus map below.
