I am pleased to announce that our team "HearTech+" (Yujia Xu, Xinqu Bao, Hak-Keung Lam and Ernest Nlandu Kamavuako) led by Yujia Xu and Xinqu Bao has won 1st place in the Challenges 2022: Heart Murmur Detection from Phonocardiogram Recording, in the International Scientific Conference of the 23rd annual Computing in Cardiology.

H.K. Lam was invited to give a talk, with the title of "An Introduction to Polynomial Fuzzy-ModelBased Control Systems: from MembershipFunction-Independent to Dependent Analysis", in a workshop on fuzzy control, organised by Taiwan Fuzzy Systems Association (TFSA).
H.K. Lam and his team received the award of Best Paper in Theory for the paper entitled "Stability Analysis o Fuzzy Polynomial Positive Systems with Time Delay", in the 2014 International Conference on Fuzzy Theory and Its Applications (iFuzzy 2014).
