For potential Ph.D students: I do not personally have funding for Ph.D students. Please check whether you are eligible for any of the funding schemes here or here. You may contact me about doing a Ph.D under my supervision if: (a) you have already secured your own funding or have prospects of doing so; (b) you are motivated, hard working and interested in doing cutting edge research; and (c) you understand that the projects I am interested in supervising involve technical aspects of computer science (algorithms, data structures, and programming). When you write to me for the first time, to help me filter out broadcast emails, please end you e-mail subject with the number 13. If, however, you are already a student at King's College London, I am always happy to speak to you about doing a Ph.D with us: please check my office hours in this regard.
