School on Methods for String Phenomenology

The school takes place at the Galileo Galilei Institute for Theoretical Physics in Florence, Italy, October 19-23, 2015. The goal of the school is to lecture advanced PhD students and postdocs in fundamental methods in particle physics, cosmology, mathematics and string theory, which play a central role in the research in string phenomenology.
The format will be in terms of lectures, as well as practical session, that complement the lectures with applications and introduction to the usage of software components.
The school can admit up to 40 participants. Accomodation for two weeks in twin rooms will be provided for a total price of about 300-400EUR. Financial support towards accomodation expenses may be provided, upon request.
