The ambition of the organizers is to promote open-minded, fruitful, cross-fertilizing exchanges between renowned academics of different fields, market analysts and practitioners.

Topics

The conference will focus on topics covered by the field of Econophysics (www.econophysics.org) which applies methods from statistical physics and non-linear dynamics to macro/micro-economic modeling, financial market analysis and social problems.

Conference topics include:
  • Agent-based models: Theory and Simulations
  • Econophysics
  • Information, Bounded Rationality and Learning in Economics
  • Markets as Complex Adaptive Systems - Evolutionary Economics
  • Multiscale analysis and modelling
