What we are looking for
We are always looking for people to work with us on the critique of robotics and AI technology, and on topics of fairness, ethics, privacy, security, transparency, and other socio-technical aspects of robotics/AI. Our goal is to both characterize socio-ethical issues, and to develop algorithms that alleviate or help protect against them.
Example topics of interest:
- Critique of robotics and AI
- Fairness, bias, ethics, privacy, cyber-security, transparency, explainability in robotics
- Intersection of robotics and social justice or social movement
- Anti-[racist/ageist/abelist/sexist/capitalist/colonialist] robotics
- Inclusive design for robotics
- Robotics for social good
For further ideas, please refer to the Resources section which includes books, papers and conferences that are closely aligned with our lab.
