Biography
I graduated from University of Padova, Italy, in Theoretical Physics, with a particular focus on Statistical Physics. For my master thesis I studied the statistics of records in stochastic processes, during a year abroad in the Université de Paris Sud.
Having met groups working on different aspects of Statistical Physics in the Paris network, I decided to attend the CANES programme to broaden the range of my skills and knowledge beyond the mathematical background to be able to join a project at the boundary between physics and biology: in the next years indeed I will be working on simulation techniques to understand and develop new protein chains, a great challenge with many interesting and useful implications.
