Jun “Joanna” Xie
Biography
Joanna joined the Department of Physics at King’s College London to do her PhD in October 2019. In her project, Joanna is using a multi-scale simulation approach to understand the effect of the structure of quantum dots on their optical properties. Additionally she will be investigating their interactions with biological membranes. Her project is being carried out in collaboration with the experimental group of Prof. Mark Green, who is also in the Department of Physics at King’s.
