This page contains videos of talks I have given at various events that were recorded. The vidoes fall broadly into three categories:

ADA Lovelace Day

This is an event held annually in the Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences at King's College London to celebrate women in science, it also aims to inspire more women to pursue science careers. I was invited to the inaugaral event to talk about my research and my career so far.

NMS Christmas Lecture: The Travelling Santa Problem

The Faculty of Natural and Mathematical Sciences Christmas Lecture Series is an annual event for high-school aged children showcasing the research in the faculty, naturally with a Christmas theme!

Searching for Good Solutions in Goal Dense Search Spaces: ICAPS 2013

This is the conference talk for the paper with the same name, recorded live at ICAPS 2013 in Rome, Italy.

Introduction to AI Planning

This is an invited tutorial I gave at the European Agent Systems Summer School in 2013. It serves as a useful online introduction to AI planning for those familiar with computer science but not planning itself.

LPRPG Video Lecture

This 1 hour video lecture describes the workings of the planner LPRPG. It was filmed during the 2009 presentation of the MRes in Automated Planning for Autonomous Systems at the University of Strathclyde. The source code for LPRPG can be found in the Software section of this website. For full details of LPRPG see the paper:

"A Hybrid Relaxed Planning Graph-LP Heuristic for Numeric Planning Domains." A. I. Coles, M. Fox, D. Long, and A. J. Smith. Proceedings of the Eighteenth International Conference on Automated Planning and Scheduling (ICAPS 08). September 2008. Download PDF (BibTeX)
