Current Work
I am a PhD student in Computer Science (Algorithms & Bioinformatics) in the Department of Informatics at King's College London. I am currently carrying out research as a member of the Algorithms and Bioinformatics Group under the supervision of Prof. Costas Iliopoulos and Dr. Solon Pissis. The main focus of my work is analysis and design of algorithms, particularly on data strings. My goal is to reduce the theoretical space and time complexity of such algorithms, that they may be more efficiently implemented in practice. My work has potential applications in DNA sequencing, music analysis, data compression and various other fields that deal with large data sets.
