King's College London
M.Sc. in Information Processing and Neural Networks

Funding, grants and scholarships

The course is supported by the relevant UK Funding Council (EPSRC) and by companies on the IPNN Industrial Board.

UK students:
Eligible applicants (UK students with first or second class honours degrees) can be considered for comprehensive STUDENTSHIPS, provided by (EPSRC), covering both tuition fees and maintenance. There is no separate application procedure for these studentships, but applicants should state clearly in the "Funding" section of their postgraduate application form if they wish to be considered for such an EPSRC studentship.

EU students:
Eligible applicants (students with the equivalent of first or second class honours UK degrees) can be considered for fees-only STUDENTSHIPS, provided by EPSRC. Additional maintenance support may be possible out of the IPNN Industrial Fund.

All other students:
The DFID Shared Scholarship Scheme (formerly known as ODASS) offers awards for scholars from developing Commonwealth countries embarking on MSc degrees. All tuition fees and maintenance, return air fares and an allowance for thesis costs will be met. The scheme is administered by the Administration of Commonwealth Universities and more details on the scheme can be found on the Commonwealth Scholarships & Fellowships Plan website. Applications are made to King's College (rather than the ACU); see here.

The funding information here is not fully comprehensive and intended only as a guide; further details concerning funding and awards can be obtained on the general page for postgraduate applications in the Department of Mathematics, or via the Postgraduate Secretary
