Model-driven development of Financial Applications
This project was initiated in 2015 as an industrial collaboration with Holistic Risk Solutions Ltd.
It aims to provide systematic and rigorous development techniques and tools for financial applications using model-driven development via:
- Specification of financial applications using UML and OCL to provide precision and portability, using concepts and terminology from the relevant finance domain
- To integrate Excel and UML specification to provide a link with existing practices
- To provide platform-independent finance libraries.
Via collaboration with Holistic Risk Solutions Ltd and other financial services organisations, we have carried out substantial case studies to investigate these approaches:
Collaborating individuals include Shekoufeh Kolahdouz-Rahimi,
Dept. of Software Engineering, Isfahan University, Iran; Hessa Alfrahi, Dept. of Informatics, King's College London; Sobhan Yassipour-Tehrani, Dept. of Informatics, King's College London.
