Welcome to SPIRE 2015
SPIRE 2015 is the 22nd edition of the annual Symposium on String Processing and Information Retrieval. SPIRE has its origins in the South American Workshop on String Processing, which was first held in Belo Horizonte, Brazil, in 1993. Since 1998 the focus of the workshop has also included information retrieval, due to its increasing relevance to and inter-relationship with string processing. In recent years the conference has been held in Pisa (Italy), Cartegena (Colombia), Jerusalem (Isreal), and Ouro Preto (Brazil).
In 2015 SPIRE comes to the wonderful city of London. Our vision is for a vibrant, relaxed conference in the tradition of scientific endeavour of this amazing world capital.
- As in past editions, the proceedings of SPIRE 2015 will be published by Springer in the Lecture Notes in Computer Science (LNCS) series.
- The main conference will be 1 September to 3 September (Tuesday to Thursday).
- There will be workshops on 4 September (Friday). See the workshops webpage.
- Submission is via easychair. See CFP webpage.
