Following the success of MatBio 2021, a Special Issue is being produced for the Journal of Computational Biology. Guest Editors are Mai Alzamel, Christopher Hampson, Costas Iliopoulos, and Fatima Vayani.

Student Conference
The students of the Algorithms and Data Analysis research group at King’s College London, invite post-graduate and post-doctoral students to the Student Conference on Mathematical Foundations in Bioinformatics (MatBio) on {{conference-date}}, sponsored by the Department of Informatics at King’s College London.
We are now inviting students to submit abstracts to be considered for 20 minute oral presentations. Abstracts consist of a short summary of the work which is intended to be presented, and must be submitted by {{submission-deadline}} using the abstract submission form below. Suitable topics for presentation include:
Registration to attend the conference is free, and we strongly encourage students to attend, to benefit from the excellent networking opportunities and potential for driving further research. The previous years of MatBio have been huge successes, and we intend to carry this success forward to 2021.
The aim of MatBio {{year}} is to further enable communication between early stage pioneers in the field and established academics. In particular we aim to enable the following:
