LSD & LAW - London Stringology Days & London Algorithmic Workshop
The LSD & LAW meetings are organised annually (usually in February) by the Algorithms & Data Analysis research group at King's College London, and welcomes researchers at all levels with interests in theoretical or applied aspects of discrete algorithms, including String Algorithms, Automata Theory, Combinatorics on Words, Bioinformatics, Graph and Network Algorithms and Computational Complexity. Research students are especially welcome.
Registration for LSD & LAW 2018 is now closed. Selected abstracts will be invited to submit full papers to a special issue of Information and Computation.
Invited talks
- Arseny Shur, Ural Federal University, Russia. "Make Pals Your Pals: Fast Algorithms for Problems Related to Palindromes"
- Roberto Grossi, University of Pisa, Italy. "Combining strings and graphs for subgraph similarity"
- Roman Kolpakov, Lomonosov Moscow State University, Russia. "Some results on the number of periodic factors in words"
- Tatiana Starikovskaya, École normale supérieure, France. "Streaming and property testing algorithms for string processing"
