The Novel Nanophotonic Phenomena team led by Francisco Rodríguez-Fortuño conducts theoretical and experimental research in ultrafast routing of light based on spin-orbit interactions in nanophotonics, polarization analysis and synthesis using integrated nanostructures, and in the theoretical study of novel optical forces for manipulation, sorting, levitation and trapping of nanoparticles, molecules, or single atoms near novel nanomaterial surfaces.

The Novel Nanophotonic Phenomena team is part of the Photonics & Nanotechnology Group in the Physics Department, King's College London
