Bloomberg Terminal Room Official Opening
The Bloomberg Terminals Room Official Opening took place on Friday, 16 November 2012, at 14:00 in Room S5.13.
Brief introductions were made by:
- Professor Michael Walker (Head of School, Natural and Mathematical Sciences, KCL)
- Professor Jurgen Berndt (Head of Department of Mathematics, KCL)
- Richard Hong (EMEA University Account Advocate-Bloomberg for Education, UK)
The opening was mainly attended by staff from the School of Natural and Mathematical Sciences, staff from the Departments of Mathematics, Informatics and Management. It was also attended by academic staff from other London universities.
A large number of students taking the MSc in Financial Mathematics also attended, as well as PhD students from the entire Department of Mathematics. A team came from Bloomberg to make introductions and to network with King's staff and students.
The opening was followed by drinks in Room S5.21.
